Neo-art-rockers Love in Reverse formed in Whiting, New Jersey during the late 1980s; initially named Dog, the group was originally a home-recording project for singer/guitarist Michael Ferentino and bassist/keyboardist Andres Karu. Something really special about this album. Bedtime for Robots never disappoints, but this particular release is transportive. A playground of sounds and directions. It will be over before you realize you woke up in a different reality. An absolute must have.

Perhaps one of Carlos' more "cinematic" albums, in places "After the Storm Comes the Calm" has the feel of an old Hollywood blockbuster movie, decades before they were done with CGI type effects. Kind of an Space-Fusion Ben Hur in it's way. Here we find some of the usual cast of characters you may find on a Vivanco album, the compound time signatures, far east sounding scales, and that urgent sense of abandon that seems to permeate all his recordings.
