Don't commit adultery, baby, on me. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
I can see your eyes they stray from my scene. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
We don't need chains, we're not slaves.
I would take these vows we made to my grave.
Oh, the way we groove is just real.
For you, I would beg, steal, borrow, or kill.
Don't commit adultery, baby, on me. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
I can see your eyes they stray from my scene. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
Don't you see what I see? There's a pretty hell between you and me.
Oh, I'm not scared or afraid. I admit I'm on my knees all the way.
Ah, ah ah, ah ah. Yeah.
We don't need chains, we're not slaves.
I would take these vows we made to my grave.
Don't commit adultery, baby, on me. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
I can see your eyes they stray from my scene. Don't commit adultery, baby, on me.
Ah, ah, ah , ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ow.
Ah, ah, ah , ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ow.
Ah, ah, ah , ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ow.
Ah, ah, ah , ah, ah. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ow.

Something really special about this album. Bedtime for Robots never disappoints, but this particular release is transportive. A playground of sounds and directions. It will be over before you realize you woke up in a different reality. An absolute must have. Honor in Treason

Perhaps one of Carlos' more "cinematic" albums, in places "After the Storm Comes the Calm" has the feel of an old Hollywood blockbuster movie, decades before they were done with CGI type effects. Kind of an Space-Fusion Ben Hur in it's way.
Here we find some of the usual cast of characters you may find on a Vivanco album, the compound time signatures, far east sounding scales, and that urgent sense of abandon that seems to permeate all his recordings.
